Whether you're here for nourishing recipes, self-care rituals, healing journeys, or simply a deeper connection with oneself and life. I'm honored to share my thoughts with you. Let's grow, ground, and glow together.

Many Christians who feel called to healing wonder if Reiki can align with their spiritual beliefs. They see Reiki as a complementary healing practice that can coexist harmoniously with their faith. Believing that the universal life force energy channeled in Reiki is ultimately a manifestation of God's love and healing power (similar to Jesus' healing power).
Christians' interest in Reiki
As Reiki becomes more popular for managing anxiety, stress, relieving pain, and promoting healing, many Christians find themselves curious to learn more and how it fits within their faith. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive therapy where a practitioner's hands are lightly placed on or near a person's body to facilitate healing and relaxation. Similar to a description in the bible, "laying on of hands".
Christians' concerns about Reiki
Some Christians argue that Reiki's association with energy healing and self-help philosophies can lead to a deviation from a biblical understanding of salvation and divine intervention. Why? because Reiki's roots are rooted in Eastern spiritual practices like Buddhism, which can raise concerns among some Christians who believe it may be incompatible with a biblical worldview.
Christians should carefully consider their own beliefs and values when deciding whether or not to incorporate Reiki into their lives, seeking guidance from scriptures, prayers, and their spiritual leaders. Christians who choose to engage with Reiki should strive to maintain a balanced approach that respects their faith and values, ensuring that Reiki does not overshadow or replace their reliance on God and the teachings of the Bible.
